Decks and Outdoor Spaces

We love the outdoors. If we could spend every work day outside underneath the wide open sky, we would. So whether you want a new deck for your family bar-b-que, a fire pit to gather around, garden beds to spend your time planting, or even just some new benches and a picnic table, (or anything in between) The Magic Tool Bus can make your dreams come true.

<- This project was a fun one. The client wanted an enclosed "Catio" for her cats (and dog). Client lives on a golf course without an enclosed yard, and previously had a small kennel with a tarp on the side of the house serving this purpose. We cleaned up the old, and brought in the new. Staged on piers, the new Catio is a self contained structure, requiring no tie-ins to the house. Made entirely of cedar, this project was nonetheless completed on a budget, and we even managed to come in under our estimate. Now the client has a place to keep her pets litter box, while the pets themselves now have a space to explore and play in at their leisure. The structure is half roofed, and half open to the sky, so the jungle gym may be enjoyed rain or shine. The client had some faux-grass material she wanted to use, so we carpeted the cat-trees with it. The pet door in the side of the house was existing, but we built a custom ramp with a covered entrance. All in all, this was a really fun and unique project, and I hope we get to do more like it!

Plus, the cats seem to love it!

The Cedar "Catio"

The Magic Tool Bus is a young company, all things told. It was founded in March of 2024 following a round of layoffs in the commercial sector. you can read more about our story here.

Being so newly formed, the company has yet to have a lot of projects under its belt to claim total credit for. To supplement these galleries as they grow, we've decided to include a gallery of photos from projects we, as individuals, have been a part of in the past. ->

These photos are not the sole property of The Magic Tool Bus, but are shared here to act as proof of the crews prior experience, and with the express permission of their owners.
